CCO proposes "Park by the Lakes"

What if the lakes could become the most amazing green part of Copenhagen -if you could flip the lakes so that it wasn't the cars that were enjoying the sunny side? What the West facing side was full of people and activities stretching all the way from Østerbrogade to the North to Gl. Kongevej to the South? What if the thousands of students at the adjacent City Campus could spend their brakes by the lakes?
And what if -by doing this- you could get rid of a major part of traffic in central Copenhagen and provide invisible parking garages?
Christensen & Co Architects have created a proposal that could achieve this. In solving a big and growing problem with car traffic this proposal becomes a sustainable vision for the Lakes and central Copenhagen.
