Christensen & Co Architects believe that architecture applies to all aspects of a building. Neither design nor function, economy nor process should be considered separately. To make truly unique buildings, one must have the skill to manage all these areas in parallel and make them feed into the project. Only this way can a project be considered successful -and innovative- for all parties involved.
Christensen & Co Architects has extensive experience designing within the following sectors: educational, cultural, research, public, commercial, residential and masterplanning.
We are competent in all types of construction; from traditional construction organization to newer types of procurement such as partnering and PPP.

SUSTAINABILITY
Sustainability is no longer a field for pioneers; it has become a legal requirement and consensus in the building process. However, visionary solutions are rarely derived from the mainstream. At CCO our ambitions far exceed the revised building regulations of 1 January 2006. Several of projects are at the absolute forefront in this field.
INNOVATION
At CCO we constantly try to challenge the borders in the field of architecture and the process of construction by collaborating with people from such wide ranging disciplines as audio/visual art to engineers. Often inspiration springs from negotiating with function, site, climate, culture or religion when designing a building.
COLLABORATION
A prerequisite for a successful building is respectful collaboration between the parties included. We believe in ambitious and challenging collaborations where the aim is set high from the outset.
